Ghosts of Girlfriends Past is a 2009 American romantic comedy film that has a plot based on Charles Dickens` A Christmas Carol. Mark Waters directed a script by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. Filming spanned February 19, 2008 to July 2008 in Boston, Massachusetts with stars Matthew McConaughey, Emma Stone and Jennifer Garner. When famed photographer and womanizer Connor Mead (McConaughey) is forced to face his past at his brother Paul`s (Meyer) wedding, he re-evaluates his actions when he comes face-to-face with theGhosts of Girlfriends Past, Present, Future, and his deceased uncle (Douglas) to reconnect with his first and only love, Jenny (Garner).
