But this time not in some glamorous ‘filmi’ award function.The world acclaimed beauty has been honoured this time with Teacher’s People Achiever award at the 10th edition of the awards in Mumbai over the weekend.

The actress however was happy that she bagged the people’s choice award, crediting the audience and her fans for being her inspiration and support. Ash dedicated the award to her father, Kishnaraj Rai as a felicitation on the occasion of his birthday.

The Teacher’s Achievement Awards that began in 2001 is rewarded to individuals excelling in diverse fields under the categories of business, communications, sports, entertainment and lifetime achievement.
